The Chroma Digital Car Park board composites live booking data onto a panel-resolution display. Each bay shows its current occupant’s vehicle registration, booking ID, and time window. A waiting queue appears automatically when all bays are full, so drivers know whether to wait or move on.
No power supply, no problem
Colour e-ink draws power only while the image changes, then holds the picture indefinitely with zero energy consumption. A single update takes a few watts for 15 to 30 seconds; after that, the sign is effectively off, but still perfectly legible.
This means battery and solar installations are practical in car parks where running a mains cable to every bay would be prohibitively expensive. Operators deploy signs across an entire car park for the cost of a single traditional display installation.
